And as far as what I tow, I have a 24' enclosed trailer(3500 when empty). I also regularly tow my buddies 20' flatbed when I use his skid steer (10,000 combined weight) and my brother's enclosed 2 place sled trailer. I just towed my uncles car carrier up from Georgia to NH with 4 truck beds and a cab. This was actually harder towing than heavier loads because of the aerodynamic drag on it. I got as low as 8.5 mpg and as high as 10.7 mpg.
