HVAC Question for you guys

We have auto climate control in our '02 Rendezvous and I was told GM uses the same system in trucks/cars.

When I have it on vent turned to a cool temp it will blow like mad from the vents. As soon as I turn it warmer/hotter I hear all kinds of blowing, but only a little comes from the vents. Make sense?

Is this normal or what could be the problem? I don't remember this being this way last winter...

Never had auto climate, but it is most likely diverting more air to the floor as you adjust it warmer.

Sounds like a bad blend door actuator, they are a PITA to change.
