The colder it gets the harder it is to move the shift lever. Last winter I could barely get it into drive. Now that it is getting cold again it is getting real hard to move again. I assume it is the cable? Is it a simple job or should I expect to be at it a whole day?

It kinda all depends on if you are replacing the whole cable or just the bottom portion. the bottom portion is relatively easy, where the upper portion is a bit more involved. You should be able to do the lower portion of the cable in only a few minutes. The top piece will take a bit longer to do because it goes through the floor and behind the inner fender.

I called the dealer and they listed them as a set. Can you get them separately?
The cheapest I can find it for is $112 including shipping. Is that a decent price?

No, they only come as the whole thing, but it is two pieces. It comes apart in the middle, just make sure you don't loose the little clip that holds the cable together.
