Drove 45 minutes to customers house this morning had heat cranked as my boots were still wet from yesterday and it be chillies!...
Arrived at house, letting EGT's drop before turnoff, as always, and flipped the switch, and low and behold to my utmost surprise, she purred up at desired high idle!!! Flipped it the other way, and as expected, Higher Idle!!! Whahoo!!!
So.........
Got to Harbor freight after job (damn place takes all my money), and flipped the switch in anticipation, and nadda......................
So...........
Climbed under neath with switch still on and started fiddling, well giving the wires hanging off the brake switch a tug downwards more up by the connector and she purred up!!!
I think I just need to clean the connector up. as I wasn't pulling towards or away from the switch itself, but more like tugging on the wires that the switch connects too.
Either way it works again the rest of the day, so if it ain't broke, I sure as hell aint' gonna break it!....
little 'jiggle jiggle' here and there never hurt anyone! We'll see how long jiggle jiggle works for..............
At least its confirmed the problem area was the suspected brake switch.
