Hello, Nice site thanks for the invite Unit 453 !!!

We're located in Cloverdale which is part of Surrey, BC and part of the Greater Vancouver Area ( 2.5 million population) we're just 15 miles north of the Northwest USA / Canada border at Blaine Washington and 2 hours north of Seattle.

We travel often with our 26ft / 5th and Dmax to Washington, Oregon & California and have done so since 1993. We are on our third RV combo.

Most of everything I have done to my truck is towing related as our truck is used @ 90% just for towing.

Welcome here Wayne. I feel stupid for not PM-ing on the other site about our move over here. I did PM a bunch of guys...but I guess I forgot a few. Glad you joined! The numbers are smaller here, but the content is good.

quick 6 racing is my name for my 87 Buick Grand National that I raced in NHRA Division 6 Drag Racing from 1993 to 2003 ( retired to RV'ing every weekend)

I ran Pro class (non-electronics) and was very consistant in the mid 11 second range with my street car on DOT tires. I made the Division 6 home track top ten race finals shoot-out 6 out of 10 years.

I have raced Mission (home track) Ashcroft, Seattle, Calgary, Woodburn, Bremerton, Gimili Manitoba, Oyster Bed Bridge PEI, Indy, Bakersfiled, Sacremento and a few others that my mind has problems remembering.

Us local Vancouver guys formed a club back in 1993 called the Grand National Racing Association and have had a much a 100+ members including some big Turbo Buick guys like Ken Duttweiler, John Galina, Red Armstrong and many others...today the club is much smaller, many like me have other interests and don't race much anymore.

Plus I have also raced my 1972 Kawasaki H2 750 Triple (now owned 33 years)during the 94-99 seasons, but was too much running both vehicles at the track at the same time, so I converted the bike back to a weekend ride.

If I could have any car from the 80's... it would have to be an 87 GNX. Love those cars just like the late 60's and early 70's cutlass'.
