I've got my tank out and I have a new sending unit that I just picked up. I was planning on cutting the treaded fittings off and using compression fittings to connect to new brake line and then using more compression fitting to reconnect to the lines on the truck. Is this the best way to handle this or is there a better way. Idea's??????????? :eek:ut: Oh yah I forgot to mention I am putting it in tonight and I am leaving on vacation with the truck next week so it's got to work.

Know i saw a repair fitting that could mate to the tank then go rubber somewhere. Maybe Walt's site ? Definitely saw it somewhere.

ialways use a bunch of neverseez on top of the tank when I reinstll a sending unit. I had one sending unit rusted in so bad I ended up with a differant tank
