hey anyone tell me about the insulation under the hood is it there to help keep the noise down or if i remove it will it help keep the temp. down under the hood let the pmd run cooler thanks 4 any info.

It will NOT help keep temps down. cleaning your rad cond oil cooler etc will. It supresses noise and protects the paint on the hood.Get the PMD cooler out of the engine bay period. This has been well explained in many many threads.

X2 on that. Just cleaned up all my behind grill coolers and as a bonus my A/C is now bone-chilling.
