Pretty straight forward, is it possible to do head studs and .010 over head gaskets with the engine in the truck? Or do I need to pull it?

Pull it and re-ring it while you are at it. It is hard to get the heads on with the studs locktighted in and tightened down into the block. I do the locktight and tightening solely to prevent coolant leaks - it works for me 2x now. The hydrobooster is in the way with the studs in to put the head on.

Otherwise you put the head on and put one stud in at a time. Best torque you can get with the locktight. (Thread sealer etc.) Good luck getting them out with the heads on for removal. (I just pull the engine as it is quicker IMO and I can get an air hammer on the manifold bolts.)
