figment
A junkie for the purr of a 6.5L
Or even just moving the Turbo?
I was even thinking of going with a set up like the TT kit's, (could even stick with a single turbo), they have for the corvette's where the turbos are at the other end of the exhaust where the mufflers are supposed to be, taking more heat from the engine bay, and the intake charge is ran all the way back to the engine. Sure you lose a pound or two of boost but the intake charge also cools down a bit before it gets to the engine. Now that I think of it you probably wouldn't have to stare at the EGT gauge so much when under full boost. Because you'd eliminate the exhaust from the left bank going into the right bank, threw the turbo and then out (for single turbo could have Y-pipe like a gasser). The exhaust would cool a little quicker not having the turbo restricting it right at the header and there would be no restriction after the turbo. ):h
