I am going to disassemble my wh1c to inspect it. I have been soaking the turbine housing with wd-40 for about a week. What is the best way to remove it without damaging the housing, heat and/or tapping it off with a beatstick?

After 25-27psi, it is a time-bomb, being out of it's map. The drive pressure is at 1:2, or 60 psi. Not a good place to run this turbo. But when considering that up to 20 psi boost, the drive pressure is still well below 1:1.5, for a minor preformance upgrade, it is still a reasonable turbo. For a normal compression engine (without mods), IMO, it is not a good idea to exceed 15 psi (boost or drive pressure) anyways. The GM-X series turbo's are out of their maps before 15 psi, and creating over 30 psi drive pressure.
