Need to buy a socket to remove it. It’s bigger than 36mm, but what size is it?

Can you get a caliper in there?

If I could find the caliper. I could measure across the flats with a straight edge.

I just bought several cheapies to solve the where's the caliper issue.

OK found my calipers and this is what I got:

6.5 driver
When they get that big I can usually find a sae socket that will fit close enough in my 3/4" drive set

I ended up doing a conversion and got an 1 1/2” socket in 1/2” drive at Lowes. Biggest metric that had at HD or Lowes was 36mm.

Blasted the nut off with that 1.5” socket on the cordless impact, then knocked the yoke off with a bfh. Will swap with the one on the trailer up at Big Bear. Getting closer to installing the GMT 800 axle.
