Are you sure your fsu hasn't come apart in the tank? Mine did what yours is doing and when I dropped my tank the fsu was all apart.
No I'm not sure, but I have been having problems 3 weeks after having a new tank and FSU installed. Teaches me for having someone else do something on my truck...........
Wanting to drop it to remove the suspected sock, but trying to wait till I have walbro and prefilter.... NO idea whats going on in there, in winter I showed out of fuel symptoms 11 gallons dep in my 22 gallon tank.... Havn't let it go down that low since. Suspecting crud in my sock, as blowing it relieved symptoms. I refill every 100 miles for the last 6 months. LOL, I have 2 tanks, 22 gallon, 25 gallon, and a 50 gallon transfer tank. I can only go 100 miles at a time, lol.
I cleaned the ground I found by the ADL OBD2 port, 2 wires, both black, factory lookin connector, screw driven in towards the rear, had to lay on back and undo, clean, redo, no different.
The radio going out on bumps today led me to believe its an underdash ground. Thats a new thing.
Fuel gauge always was sparattic for a long time, but now its pointing to 85mph, lol, going due west, WAY past empty. Tank is full.
I also have a rear tank FSU that is garbage.... Need to replace that too.
I'm almost out of the winter hole, so 100 here, 200 there will be easy in a month or so..............
