Do many run a relay for the FRC-10 or is the factory wiring ('97) sized ok for the amp draw of the higher output pump?

Most are not running a relay. I would though and do. The OPS it to light of a switch. The stock wires are good.
I've got a relay kit on the burner so to speak If I can find time to develop it.
