Same as doing a SBC or a BBC or any other engine.
Unhook and mark your wiring if it does not have specific plugs.
Remove radiator and get it to safe harbor.
Remove the flywheel cover, flex plate bolts etc, Motor mount cross bolt (long ones)
Starter, exhaust manifolds (makes more room to handle the engine)
Oil cooler lines, fuel lines.
Along with the exhaust manifolds, get the xover out of the way and the front drive shaft if 4X4
Lift using factory lift points front and back. Block tranny before lifting engine.
If you run into an issue of not enough height, remove the RH front motor mount from the frame and this will allow some extra room to slip the engine sideways then up and out.
Tranny can come forward and down as long as you have the room under the truck.
Be careful with the electrical plugs on the tranny and T case.
****Hint, for ease of reinstall, use plastic zip lock bags (very cheap) and bad all the bolts and such in groups and label.
Makes it very easy when you go to put it back together to have just what you need when you are at a specifc place and not have to paw though a bucket of stuff.
Have fun
