EGR Issue!!!!

Ir really depends if you want custom tunes or not. You can PM me for pricing and options. If it's not studded I wouldn't push for the custom tunes.
 
99% of the 6.0L tuners we sell are SCT Xcal3's with Innovative Diesel tunes. Probably the best at tuning the 6.0L in the country.
 
So did you get it fixed?

The 6.0L EGR's suck. Delete it so you don't push all the hot EGT's in the cooler and overheat your coolant or damage the EGR cooler to the point it leaks. Also if you puke once out the res. you need to change the cap because the hot coolant damages the seal and allows the coolant to leak easier, won't seal tight.

The truck is fixed but ran into another non-mechanical issue so its down again for a few days....lol...the dodge was some stupid part that was covered under warranty so its no big deal. I'll get the stroke studded and get the EGR delete here soon.
 
I know everyone says studs, but if you are not having issue's with the head gaskets you would be doing good just starting with the EGR since it's not that much compared to a stud job. Just some advice
 
EGR delete and custom tunes are why better than the superchips. I'm saying don't wait for stud's. Get the EGR deleted ASAP at least. Ever guy that always says he will do it all at once waits and then chases the coolant leak again. The start of the problem is in the EGR cooler getting hot and heating up the coolant. Flashing the coolant and you puke again. Don't flash the coolant/ No more EGR and you will not have to do stud's unless you REALLY push your truck.

I'm interested in finding out who makes the egr delete kit too. My brother's egr has already been replaced once.

PS I got a very good deal on the sct x3 from ragindiesel for my brother. I won't tell you how much unless he says it's ok. He can't wait for it to get here.
