I'll be doing my front CV half shafts in not so distant future. I'll at minimum replace the end link bushings since I have to take them off since they appear to be less than $20 ish.

Thinking while I am there......

Wondering if you just get use to the long slow wear of a sway bar and or bushings or do they fatigue and wear out? If I upgraded or went with new would my truck handle a little better? Or is this better done when you do A arm bushings?

Is Helwig the better upgrade sway bar? Any others out there?

Yeah, bushings wear out no brainer. Do poly sway bar bushings help?

I don't see any real upgrade sway bars just near OEM different manufacturers Helwig and Hotcskins? . A few different bushing mfg'ers.

Googling I see some say no the sway bar doesn't wear out under normal usage since its not stressed parked or driving straight (only cornering or parked cocked up with one front tire high/low ). But at 20 years old I wonder if its lost some strength.

Probably not going to replace it now just do all bushings on sway bar while I am there.

Bigger is better, poly bushings are a +, Helwig are good parts, if you can afford it add the big rear bar also, makes a world of difference...
