not sure if this belongs here or not,
my brother has a 99 f350 dsl 4x4 with a bad tranny and the front differential makes all sorts of noises too, he found a wrecked 01 f250 4x4 to swap these things with, he wants to swap both diffs, tranny and transfer case, so my question is, is this as simple as "plug and play" so to speak, are the differentials and tranny the exact same?
another thing to note here is that the donor vehicle has the knob on dash 4x4 while my brother's has a manual transfer case.
any help is appreciated
