I did the Raamat In my truck. Double thick on the firewall, floor, back of the cab, inner and outer door panels, and the insolite foam mat. New carpet kit, and I took the 3 1/2'' foam and cut it into chunks and stuffed it anywhere there was a hole in the dash ( this helped the most). I love the product and what it did but, you aren't going to get much noise reduction, at least not engine/ exhaust noise. It makes a huge difference on putting speaker sound into the cab and in turn cutting out the outside racket, at least with my system

. When talking to supplier he advised changing my exhaust to help aid in noise reduction, and also if I had the time tearing the dash out and doing the whole firewall. He also suggested to use the dynamat hood liner to aid in noise reduction. I currently have a functional 2 1/2'' cowl induction hood with zero insulation on it. I am sure I get a lot of engine noise because of this. The truck all together sounds much tighter, fewer vibrations and is quieter on the inside considering I have a straight pipe exhaust dumping under the bed, bigger turbo and no insulation on the hood.
