Hi all,

we'are willing to add power to 2 N/A 6.5.
One is in a 1995 Cheyenne K1500 with DS4 IP, the other sits in a 1990 Blazer with a DB2 IP (the 6.2 was shot and we put in a 6.5).

We think it should be almost easy to install turbos on this engines, as long as we use mechanicals wastegate actuators (Heath TM is the choice) and intakes + headers of course...

That said, we are wondering if this could be so simple. May be there's a trap somewhere we didn't see?

e.g. what about boost sensor? I bet harness don't have the wire and plug for it.

Any of you already have made this kind of update?

If you have all of the 'hard' parts (turbo, manifolds, oil supply line) - then the computer stuff is the easy part.

Remember - the MAP sensor is easily fooled...
