coil springs questions

I am going to have to change the front coils but i don't know what the original package is. the is a regular srw or the F42 package that's also used in the duallys. dealer was no help, to old I guess. anyway to tell them apart without the RPO's? gvw is 9000 lbs

Honestly they are probably the same. These trucks carry most of the added weight over the rears. Have you checked w/ LMC. they may have what you are looking for. I had to use them to get stuff for my 89 suburban.
