Cast iron block repair

I wanted to put this in the how to forum but it said I didnt have sufficient permission, so, here it is.
This is from Dave, a FB vehicle repair specialist that also does a lot of videos.
His procedures are spot on and never misleading.
Here he has a cast iron block repair specialist that casts iron back onto the busted blocks.
I dont have time to watch it all the way through right st the moment, but, this might be an alternative to scrounging a good block.

I had actually seen that before. They did the repair to a very rare block. It wasn't as simple as just welding it up. The whole process took a couple of days. Then there was quite a bit of machining to do.
