Capacity for trans fluid

Dumb question, I know, but how many quarts does the Ally take?
I really need to get a new owners manual for the truck. Now I just have to find a Allison dealer around work. Had one on my way to and from the field office when I was south of where I live, but now I am going north and I will have to find someone up that way.

A drain and refill with the stock shallow pan takes just shy of 8 quarts. There's enough left over if you buy 2 gallons to change and pre-fill a new spin on also.

Flushing takes almost 5 gallons.

And, make sure the fluid level is only 3/8 to 1/2 way up the hot check crosshatch when at operating temp after you refill so it won't start to run hotter than normal.
