Hey guys, do any of you know if the fron 8 to 10 bolt wheel adapters on the front of the HD trucks will work on my K3500 ??

Also does the HD truck have wheel 8 to 10 bolt adapters on the back or is it just a 10 lug axle hub ??

Mike, I have seen them used, and on the web, but i don't have first hand info on them, sorry..

Some searching on google should yield several results. You can get just about any adapter made. 8 holes to bolt on truck with 10 studs for 10 lug rims, ive seen these adapters front and back on the net

I have as well for $ 800.00, I'm not about to pay that for aftermarket wheel adapters. I came across a nice set of 19.5" aluminum wheels and nice tires off from a F-450 for $ 2,000a

what year is the f450? they are most certainly metric, unless these are special ones to go on the 89 (or 88? )-98 F450s that were the same pattern as the HDs, but with a larger hub bore. that era ran 16 inch rubber, so that is where the custom part comes in.

Susposedly the Ford 19.5 rims and the Chevy HD 19.5's will fit,.......But there is a problem......something about Hub centric and Lug centric......Do some research.

They make steel 19.5" wheels that are direct bolt on for our trucks.

Also, the frito lay trucks have the 19.5" wheels and tires that will bolt onto our trucks also.

New they run about $200, Used around $40 - $60.

I thought they were both 6 inch width, the frito wheels and the OEM 3500HD wheels.

GM is definitely hub centric, aka hub piloted

I know dads 91 F350, 89 F450, and 95 F450 all have straight cut holes and collared nuts, So I am thinking the 450s are hub centric, and the 350 may be balanced soley by the locating pins present on its rims. IDK what all the newer stuff has, but I think ford did away with the pin design when they went metric.
