That aligns amazingly well to the intake snorkel. Is that one a twin scroll hot side?

I would bet dollars to donuts it is. To my knowledge holset/CTT only have 1 single scroll turbine housing for the 35/40 chra and it's on the hx35g so don't expect the 40s turbine wheel to fit the housing without some tinkering
