Well, I'm a bit annoyed.

I'm helping a buddy in restoring a RAM2500 with 5.9 cummins.

Engine looks fine, but it looks like it has suffered a bit and gets worn suspension components and front bearings.

We have especially to change the track bar, in front.

We were told that this bar was declined in 2 patterns, as far as I understand, 1 design for trucks from 02/1994 and previous, another from 02/1994 and +

Starting from the VIN 1B7KF26C6RS618901, any of you can tell me if this truck was built before or after 02/1994 ?
I also need to know how we can fix if it is a H/D 8800 G.V.W or a 7500 G.V.W

Thank you for your help.

My brother has an 01 and he's tried every aftermarket fix he could find and never did get it to drive right

Give me a few and I'll have the build sheets for ya......

As far as the steering goes, the best fix for it is adjusting the caster to between 4.5 and 5.5* and adding a steering box brace.

It was built on Feb 10, 1994.

It's an 8800 GVW truck.

It's got an incomplete recall for the steering shaft.

Here's your build sheets for the truck.....

I know it's old, but the 1994 Dodge trucks were built with a bad differential weld location. This was corrected over a holiday in production. So if you have trouble getting the truck aligned keep this production flaw in mind. There is a fix and your dealer may have some options.
