I'm in the final stages of mapping out my Grand Canyon trip this summer and need some highway info. I'm planing on taking 89 north from 40 in Arizona to 160 east to 191 north into Moab Utah on a section of the trip. I'm concerned about these roads being suitable towing a 24ft trailer. Do you think this section of road is ok or should be avoided.Thanks.:driving:

I don't think you will have any problems. I take that section of 89 about 7 or 8 trips a year, no problems there. I have done the road to moab through there once, don't recall any issues. I wouldn't have any concerns about it.

I like to use Google Earth when I want to look at places I never been or have questions about. Its also just a pretty cool site, you can have a view from above (satelite). Also zoom in to see houses, roads, landmarks, ect. and with the street view turned on you can click on the camera on the roads and it will put you on that road with a 360 degree view around you. You can check the site out below and its free.
