we are tossing around the idea of buildin a custom setup with a duramax vnt turbo... some of the things to solve will be:
-actuation of the boost/hydraulic/puter controlled vanes
-buildin the turbo pedestal(thinkin to remove the spacer shim behind the pass. side motor mount to start a possible bracket there..)
- also tossing around the idea of just turning the y-pipe right where it joins into one and coming up under the pan kind of inline with the mech. fuel pump position...(probably relocate the batts. into a toolbox in the box...

anyways all ideas and input is welcome...

it would be a great turbo to run and due to the fact that the end of it isnt curved toward the intercooler like the he351 you could run it non intercooled very easily with wmi. only problem is those are expensive turbos and so is the controller

I dont see why it wouldent work. It controls the vains baised off of throttl postion, boost and crank position. Its just a matter of tapping into them on our OB1 trucks. being able to build max boost by turning the switch sounds like a stand alone type controller to me. I wonder how they tapped into that dodge to make it work.
