ok, ive read all the kudos on the E3158 for the 93 diesel as a better pump than the OEM E3540 for a 99..

but why? more pressure? more flow? more reliability?

what are the differances?

i googled and didnt come up with anything..

any ideas fellas?

Have a quick scan through this site....look for Matuva - I believe he is the one that has already typed up the differences in pumps...

Here is what I read with my gauge for the Airtex. It is said to be a HO at 10~14 PSI according what's written on the pump.
- at WTS : 12 PSI
- at iddle : 7 PSI
- at WOT : 3~4 PSI.

I don't remember precisely the how much this pump is able to push in volume...

Exact readings of my AC-Delco ordered for a 93.. Not sure on model number.

On re-read, I never tested WOT. That could be a large difference.
