Has anyone installed one of these in place of the factory lift pump? They are very popular with the Powerstroke guys and add a great layer of filtration, water separation and air removal.

I have read some bad things on the ADII model, but the original works great.

Looks nice. I read the literature, sounds solid and a good concept. They have an application for the 6.5, with 100gph @ a fixed 8 psi output. That would compliment the FTB upgrade nicely.

For most +10 year old 6.2 / 6.5 trucks's, it probably over kill for the price (+$600). The cold weather waxing could be and issue on top of it.

For me, I spend too much on the truck just keeping it running, let alone to add an upgrade like this. But I would keep it in mind if the money and idea hit me.

I've got a raptor 100 on my 98.

I also added a big honkin' prefilter.

I didn't want to go with the airdog as I didn't want to be hemmed in to buying replacement filters from them.

Just a good ol' racor for me....

If interested I can get the Raptor 100 kit for $389 shipped in usa.
Or $405 for Raptor 150.

Man I have a Hard time faulting the Walbro I got from you B Oil, It is everthing these 6.5 needs and along with a Racor Filter makes it a tough Combo to beat and a bargain compared to the Raptor

I agree the Walbro is a great pump for the 6.5.
The raptor "kit" is nice as it comes with new 1/2" lines from tank to FFM. So, if yours are rusted or???? it may be a good choice then.

Just put one on an '01 Duramax. REALLY nice system, but I agree that it's probably not necessary for a 6.5, since it will not be likely to produce the huge amounts of power the Duramax can. Go see Leroy for his system. When I'm ready to buy, that's where I'll go.

Same co. that makes AirDog and Raptor also make Glow Plugs.....Called Dieselrx, are these the WAP quick heats, the ones SSD sold that gave so much trouble and died very quickly??
