I have a 2003 F550 in my shop, Air bag light is on, or flashes then gos out to come back on aging and flash, we did have the batteries disconnected for some of the work we did. Any thoughts, is this a key cycle issue or do I need to look for something else? Truck is out of warranty so I would like to help him out if I can.

You may need to check for codes in the BCM or SRS modules. May be just a power loss code or something of that nature. Try driving it a bit while starting and turning it off intermittenly to register some key cycles and the light may go out too. I dont know anything about the Fords but i would try that.
