a truck question

I found this truck, It has a blown head gasket. he said the most he has driven it is around his yard to move it around out of the way. I need imput, Im carless and he said he would take 1200 for it.

Any imput including what it takes to do a head gasket would be great.

I just pulled apart an engine with a blown head gasket that sat for 3 years. the cylinders needed honeing due to the excessive rust. as stated above the year and condition would be helpful to
