Hi everyone! I've been absent from here for awhile, but I'm back to announce my latest project! (Because we all need more projects. Right?)
My wife just bought herself a 91 W250 cummins to swap the power train into her 85 Ramcharger. She hates half ton brakes and I told her the best way to fix that, is to change to bigger axles. So I should have found them earlier, cause now I'm in for a whole power train, instead of just axles! Not only that, I just upgraded the doors to pw/pdl/pm, new sound system and alarm, and had the dash out for that harness swap. Now I'll be diggin' in even deeper for the whole cabin harness! :mad2:
Hehe! I'm stoked to see this one come together!
I'll be posting updates and pics here soon!
Any pointers, advice, or just words of encouragement are welcome and greatly appreciated!
Also, I'll try to update the thread I started regarding my lpg injection on my K2500...

I was thought I might be able to get away with something there... Should be easy with it all being old stuff, but when when I wreck the pickup, I'll be taking everything just in case. I've been doing some research and I may have to keep the existing harness to have the a/c functional... seems different just by looking. I have only the chrysler service manual "1985 D&W 100-350 Ramcharger". I should probably get a haynes too. What would it be... 80-93? I guess I could drag my bones to the library or something... maybe some kind soul will email me some photos of any electrical schematics applicable to the 91. So yah, you're probably right.

I would think it would all be the same.... For the engine to run all you need is one hot wire to the injector pump . An the alternator should be the same. Actually the wiring for a/c is similar with the newer style having more controls. I believe i would just use the wiring on the Ramcharger as that will be much simpler than taking everything off and transplanting. But that is your call as it's your vehicles.;)
