6.5 help

my 96 6.5 is not starting and running. i replaced the lift pump, the relocated pmd (again) and the oil pressure switch and the filter. the truck was running great and then it just shut off. it sat for a couple of hours than started right up,ran for about 5 min than shut off. started up revved real high on its own than shut right off (than new parts) did not start again. towed to mechanics. mechanic bleed air out of lines at the injector and the truck would start but shut off again after sometimes 30 min or just a couple of secs. no smoke, no check engine light. is there really some sort of a sock filter in the tank? could that be it? the truck runs great (when its running) so i dont think it would be the ip. my mechanic gave up. what should i check next? any input would be helpful and appreciated.

When it is running, open up the drain valve and see if you get fuel flow.

Any SES codes?

How old is the PMD? Where did you get it?

Also where and how did you relocate the PMD and where is the ground wire for it.
