Hard braking in that era Brave was interesting. Use the seat back to apply as much force as possible on the brake pedal and try to maintain steering with your right hand while using the left hand to whack the transmission selector into lower gears as quickly as possible.
Cool trick on the gasser was that you could pop-off the doghouse and adjust the carb on the fly
