Well I had a busy weekend.
I had been having issues with an 04 that i was trying to tune. I kept trying to read it as an LLY because I saw a cat on it when I straightpiped it for him. Well i tried reading it s an LB7 and it worked, then looked at the Vin and under the hood and there was no question about it that this was an 04 LB7 with california emissions. I was pumped because i love tuning LB7s. I built a decent DD tune thats about 100hp over stock. I noticed a difference in the trucks performance and the tranny never missed a beat. The kid thought it was the fastest thing in the world.
Then the same night another buddy with an 05 LLY wanted me to build him a pulling tune for when he pulls it this summer. So I bought another license and built his tune.
The next day My dad was getting sick of how gutless our farms 02 and 03 LB7s were, so he had me tune them, while I was online ordering licenses I just decided to order 4 more cause i knew id need them. The 02 had an Edge Juice in it but it died over the winter. I made small towing tunes for both of them but the gains are very notice able. I want to add DSP5s, Boost valves, and gauges to both of them too.
Well one of those licenses was put to use on sunday when I tuned one of my sponsors 04.5LLY. He had an Edged Juice but it was giving him troubles and his didnt like the way it ran.
So now I still have a spare license. I like this business, its easy money. And its fun seing people expressions when they look at the software and when they drive their truck for the first time with the new tune.
