2nd gear syncro

:???:so I believe that I have the syncro going out in 2nd gear. I was told that it was probably that because it sounds like its grinding the gear no matter how gentle I put it in gear. now I found a kit with all the new parts minus big parts(gears, shafts) it in for a decent price. I'm just wondering how hard is it to rebuild the NV4500 or would it just be cheaper to take it some where and have them rebuild it.

link to parts. some are inport junk.

I beleive tanner liked the content of the rebuild manual from quad4x4 and parts from Blumenthals in oklahoma.

IMO shops will likely use junk parts to save money, so I would say to rebuild it yourself.
