Found a wrecked ambulance with a 6.5 at junkyard. Have been su****ious of my pcm for a while. Have a couple of questions.
1. Do I just need a reflash?
2. Did GM update their software for performance, runnablility etc...?
3. Will it work with my injector pump?
4. What other parts should I get?
 
If you are getting a reflash any core will do. If you are looking for a stock replacement the drivetrain needs to be identical.
