1998 jimmy gmc

Welcome to the forum USPro.
Most likely a fusable link, or, if there is a underhood fuse box, one of those 30 amp main fuses is blowed out.
Open the hood.
Above the left(drivers side) fender well there is a black box.
Lift the cover by releasing the two latches.
Lift iff the cover, flip over the cover.
The legend will show two 30 amp fuses at the back side of the box.
Pull those fuses, give them a visual.
Most likely one of those is blowed out.
