At stock height, will this tire size fit on this truck with 16x8 rims that have a 4 1/2" backspace (or offset of 0mm)?

I'm wanting to fit these on my 2001 Sierra 2500HD at stock height.

If there is a sticker on the back of the door, or on the left side door frame, it will give the stock tire size.
I think, IIRC, that my K3500 of the 2000 year was stock with the 265 tire size.
About the wheel off set, I could not say anything about that as I do not know anything about that.

If no one knows if the tires/wheels will work on Your truck, might have to get one of them mounted and installed, then turn the steer wheel to its limits and see what it does.
I had to turn up the torsion bars on my truck to get the oversize tires from rubbing the back corner of the wheel wells, it would rub if I went around a corner and hit a bump. With more than Me in the cab, it would rub just going around a corner.

I have OE tires and aftermarket rims which have wider than OE stance (positive offset?) and clearance is not an issue. So it is likely that using a set of neutral offset with slightly wider treads will not have a clearance issue.

Am going to run with the crowd where 245's are OE, especially since Tire Rack lists that as OE :) Specifically 245/75-16.

In jumping over to GT Spark Plugs, the stats are:
- 245:
++ Diameter: 30.47
++ Revs per mile: 661.93

- 265
++ Diameter: 31.65
++ 637.23

IIRC, with the wider contact patch, expect the fuel economy go down a bit.

Stock tires on 2500HD are 245x75x16.
The stock OEM rims are a rim that really doesn't have much offset at all. So chances are, they should fit fine. I upgraded to 265x75x16 tires on my OEM rims at my first change. I made the tire height adjustment with my tuner. Speedometer is right on the money.
If you call any rim manufacturer, they will tell you what OEM offset is.
I was always under the impression that positive offset brought tires under the truck towards the centerline, and negative offset brought tires out or away from the centerline.

Stock size is, indeed, 245/75R16. Positive offset is what the OEM wheels have - pushes the wheel under the truck more. Less "dished" look to the rim.

The tire company I'm planning to buy from told me that I can order two different sizes if I want and they can mount two of them, put the truck down to see how they fit and if they don't work, I can change to the other size. This seems reasonable. I just want to be armed with as much good information up front as possible.

If I'm stuck with 245s, then there's a good chance I'll just end up selling the truck - yes, I'm really that vain.

You definitely have options out there.
I personally dislike when I see these trucks with large negative offsets. They just look odd being much too wide. I like the stock offset, but a wider than stock rim size.
I think stock OEM PYO rim size was 6.5". A bit too narrow. 8" would look much nicer with the same OEM offset.
