They still may claim a "power adder" was in place at the time of a failure, after looking at head burn patterns, and piston top burn marks. There willbe a star pattern that they look for on a "tuned" motor, although, it's my understanding, the same pattern is visible on a stock motor.

X2 on bumping the speed limiter, sounds like a surge at the point where it kicks in (96 mph) And vvt's were put on the 04.5 LLY's. 04's did not.

01 Honda 400EX punched out to 440, stage 2 hotcam, Edelbrock carb, LRD exhaust. Front tires don't spend a lot of time on the ground!
