2006 Jetta TDI timing belt replacement

I'd personally try changing the belt without removing that pulley. Get tenshioner out of the way, slip on belt, release tenshioner. If you can't fit it, then go to plan B

    05 LLY

Welcome to the forum. I wonder if there is the EGR is blocked? You may want to look into blocking it with a plate and getting a finger stick. It reworks and tricks the computer from giving certain DTC Codes. How many miles on that rig?

    LED shop lights

The ones I installed were commercial grade. LEDs. Brightest of any I have installed. Definitely flood not a spot.

    LED shop lights

The brightest LED lights I've installed have been Hi Bay Lights. They have a big shiny reflector. Extremely bright. Hi Bay is a commercial type term for bright commercial light.

    She turned 100 today.

Nice BigR. My turbo vanes are stuck open. I either need to get a new one or remove and clean mine. I'm at 195k. Frame is in tough shape. Rocker panels finally went. Big holes on bottoms. Still kicking though. No pump rub issue yet either. Fingers crossed.

    2006 Power Steering Hose Change

Bump. I bought a Mity Vac just in case I need it. It does both vac and pressure.

    2006 Power Steering Hose Change

Is it safe to just remove the lines? I read that there is pressure that may be in the lines. Any help on which order to remove and replace? And do I have to use a VAC tool to pull the air out and bleed the lines from the pump cap?

    2006 Power Steering Hose Change

I noticed that my original 2006 power steering hoses were leaking last winter. They only seemed to leak when it was very cold out. I checked the hoses and they appeared to be leaking a bit where the metal lines met the crimp on the rubber hoses. SO I figured I'd get the jump on those this year...
