x2 for Posi-Lok At Mammoth Mountain ice and snow had built up while we were skiing and a snow plow had boxed me in. It didn't help that the electrical (I believe mine was thermal) 4x4 actuator disengaged after I turned my truck off. I needed 4x4 badly, but couldn't engage it. STUCK! Not sure...

Why would you want to put a chip from a truck with a manual transmission into an automatic? You can swap the intakes without installing the chip from the F truck. Your truck will throw a code or two b/c your EGR is gone. In my 94 (in sig) I switched my S intake (upper and lower) to an F intake...

Primer, It looks like we have the same year truck. Did you purchase the newer actuator, with the harness to retrofit it to our year truck? If so, why didn't you go with the Posi-Lock system? Jon

I checked the fuse and the wiring, but they were OK. I'm pretty sure it is a bad actuator. AFAIK, my truck has the original type (thermal) actuator.
