Thats what i have heard.
20's are a maybe, sorta like going to a super single... But I do know its gonna cost
19.5's are a thought. Steel rims are easy as teh chev grumman bolt on directly.
18's are still not as common
17's are the best opt for your buck as all the new trucks run them so tires...
Havent installed it yet, waiting for it to arrive. I do have a bud who has one and its a good ride.
I do know what you mean though about climbing in and out of the box, I have a step for the hitch and with my short legs its a must have...lol
Just reading this and admiring the pics/work you have done (looks awsome btw) one thing come to mind though.
Having the battery so close to the tank and exhaust is umm a bit riske isnt it?
Its a 1994 K3500 CrewCab, long box 4wd dually
I guess you could say a lil fun here and there, have always wanted to lift it but had a wife that kept spending...lol
Okay so the old gal has proved herself 110% reaching 1.3m km on her I have decided to take the plunge and start having fun with her.
Started out with all new lights (LEDs, HDs, and new tails) working to wards going all smoked lens.
Ordered a 6" tuff country lift, waiting on it.
Thats...
NVW for an Albertan you actually know something...lol
ALLLTHOUGH that said most 94's didnt have a strainer or anti-theft in the fuel filler. If you are on good terms with the local gas station or maybe you can get some at the local auto store you can try to get some water paste. Its used...
If your plugs are working and you have pressure at the fuel filter then it is between the fuel filter and the engine.
Whats the temp like where you are? How much fuel do you have in your tank? Have you tested the fuel for water?
I dont know if all of them or at least the 2500's preheat the fuel can as mine does. Its not exactly ideal but leaving the ign on for 5-10 mins on my truck and you can barely touch the fuel filter canister. This I am sure helps withthe starting process especially well in cold weather
Okay, I am a fan of trying to test things without spending any money. I hate buying parts to find out the old one worked and the new one really isnt needed but now that I have installed it I cant return it.
The truck isnt drivable, so taking the inner wheel fenders off is not really a big...
Another thiing I have seen happen is also the ign key could be the culprit. When the power dies out on you have you touched the key at all. try to wiggle it around and slightly turn it (not as far as to recycle it to the next/previous stage). I have had a few vehicles where that was the issue.
If you read a lil further back he said the previous owner used either to start it fairly often.
My bad, its a 1/4 inch line not a 1/3 inch line I meant to say which is gonna cost at most a cpl bucks. again it will demonstate if the IP is at least pushing any fuel through
I agree about the...
As I sugested, take a 1/3 inch clear line about 6 feet long undo a fuel line at the injector, put the clear line over the fuel line end and run the other end into a container. try cranking the truck a few times and you should have fuel in the bucket/cup if you dont then its you need to do that...
Is it a standard or Automatic?
I strongly advise against any starter aids....scarey sh^t
Crank the engine several times and then quickly loosen your fuel cap, if you hear a loud hiss (air being sucked in) if you hear it then thats a for sure your lift pump is working and also a potential...
Look for the high spots in the system/lines and then find the nearest downstream fitting. Crack the fitting but not enough to open. Then have pressure applied to the system open slowly till fluid comes out and then quickly close before you loose pressure. Usually very slight opening will work...
