i was a little less than busy at work the other day so i pulled off my sill plates and kick plates and sprayed them in line-x, what do you think? of course i cant take credit for the idea. wsmithduramax is the brain. sorry for the crappy pics. ill post better ones when i get a minute.
i had to reverse the wires on my fog lights but installing them is no sweat. like nick said its just plug and play. the hardest part is deciding where to mount them.
you don't have a buddy that is a tech do you? i only ask because i don't think the dealer would be very cooperative if they found the tune in your truck.....wish you were closer i would reprogram it in a couple minutes.
ya you can use it again no problem, it just erases all the stored codes...
that happened to smokinlb7 with his stealthII and i ended up having to take a techII down to his truck and reprogram the stock tune into the ecm. thats the only way I know of to fix it.
here is the bulletin on all of the clusters from 03 to 07 classic. they will replace your cluster under warranty as long as you are under 70,000 miles.

agreed. if i were to buy a newer truck i would definately go after the LBZ. don't get me wrong though i love my LB7 and as of now i couldn't imagine wanting anything else.
my truck was the same way when i bought it. i ended up shampooing the seats and carpet with a deoderizing additive, worked good and cleaned alot of the stuff i couldnt get with a vaccum out.
i can't tell you how many times i have been out there in the middle of the day with the service trailer either fixing them or welding a boom back on to finish the field and working through the night because of the time it wasted.
yep your doing it right. you will be able to tell a difference if you take the cellophane off of a pack of cigarettes put your fingers in it and rub it across your paint (pay no attention to the accidental inuendos lol). run your fingers across it before and it will feel like sand, and after it...
