Ok, so we swapped a new fuel pump on and it started up ok. Let it run for awhile. Started revving up a bit. Yes we made sure there was no air in it anywhere. We pulled a injection line off and turned the motor over. The fuel just barely dripped. Shouldn't it be more? We went to drive...

Got it fixed. The return lines were brittle. Replaced them and it's good to go. Now if I could just keep the damn thing running life would be good!

I think my starter is dragging and I was wondering if a BBC starter will fit?

So I got the dually running(sorta) but two of the injectors are dripping fuel. There working(I'm guessing), is there an o-ring to replace? And what tool do I need to remove them. Thanks!!!!

I just got done swapping the 6.2 into my '89 Dually. Do I need two batteries? And if so do I run one positive cable to the other? Thanks.

Is the valve body an easy switch?

What is VB? TC is torque converter but what is VB?

My diesel came with a 700R so I have torque converter and the like.

Well I got a 2wd 700R for $113 at a pick a part and a friend is giving me another 700R for nothing. So I figure if one blows up I have a spare! I know it's not perfect but it'll get me on the road. We're pulling the diesel out this weekend. I'm getting excited.

I've been trying to get a diesel for my '89 1 ton dually. And I've read up about the 6.2 and heard bad things. But I figured what the hell. I like an underdog. I bought this '89 1/2 ton 4x4 with a 6.2 for $700. Looks like hell but runs like a champ. I'll be swapping the 6.2 into the 2wd...
