    well the only reason i don't think it's the meter is because i tested several other batteries that tested around 12 volts.

    lol sorry i have a cummins too. and it is tested with the engine off and i'm getting 19 volts any where i test it. (both batteries, hot wires in cab, trailer plug, hot post off of the alternator) so what about the grounds?, i just put new terminals on the cables too, because they were over...

    My volt meter is showing just under 14 volts while running, using a test meter my batteries are showing 19 volts, okay so the factory gauge it wrong, no problem, But I'm gonna fry shit up and I really don't want to. can I adjust the voltage regulator on the alternator?

    well. i didn't know what to do so i just replaced it anyway. it WAS THE ORIGINAL, it was $63 at advance, got the severe duty one, cheap insurance, so it's in, and runs 190, to the floor up to 210, but right back down to 190

    well i put the heat gun to it and it was hot as shit,,, and nothing, the fan felt like it got smoother and easier to turn it never tightened up

    i think my fan clutch is bad, when i start the truck it's on immediately, not just spinning, but ON i rev it up and its definitely pulling air, it never shuts off
