the nv4500...a simple yet arrogant machine! I love them and put them in everything that I have with a chevy V8, sounds like worn-out parts. Don't just do the clutch or the pilot, or clutch cylender....do them all!!! I know its more money however the NV4500 will run for miles and miles if you run...
I put a NV4500 in my 1990 3500 chevy crew cab, I was wondering how in the hell to hook up the speedo? The truck has a cable going to a box that puts out a two wire connection to the speedo, do I hook the VSS up to the box or straight to the speedo?
Back fire is timing issues, Poppin through the carb is Valve train. Rough running is usualy caused by timing but BBC's are know for valve train destruction, check the compression it will give away if you have a vavle issue quickly, the numbers will be very different in the messed up area.
