All,
Just purchased a new Carson Fun Runner 20' Toy Hauler to haul my 4 dirt bikes. I plan to purchase a www.boltiton.com rail system but was thinking I might want a rubber mat under the bikes to protect the floor from damage while hauling that I can roll up out of the way when I unload the...
Wow, that is a great deal. My biggest problem is finding a toy hauler small enough to drag up into more remote camping spots. Most of these things are 11 feet tall and 25 or more feet long. I just need to carry 4 dirtbikes and sleep 4.
98 VFR Interceptor here. Had for a number of years and it still brings a smile to my face everytime I ride it. Not the fastest bike out there but no slouch either. Pretty comfortable to ride as well.
jim87vette,
Sounds like me, I'm justing going a little slower than the other kids in the class. I bought my dmax because my 1/2ton had 200k on it and needed a new tranny. I figured a bigger trailer was in my future so I took the plunge.
Here are some examples of what I'm finding:

Found many on craigslist, seems like 20 foot is what would work. A couple of 3-4 year old ones are on there for $10k. They are Carson Fun Runners. Any word on those?
Such varied prices on these things, hard to understand what makes one expensive and the next one cheaper.
All,
Right now I have a modified pop-up trailer that holds 2 dirt bikes on the front and 1 on the back. It works well but has no fridge, no toilet, and no A/C. Also, use it for snowmobiling and hunting in the winter and determined that it's not much better than a tent in the cold...
I ran one on Sunday morning too. Side by side for 2 different lights and pulled on him from 2nd gear up to 100, twice. Had about 2 cars on him each time. He was cool and gave my stock looking dmax a thumbs up. I need a built tranny so I can turn up the power with EFI live.
