I have owned my truck since 2000 and the best thing I ever done is going to the DB2 I looked up what was best year for 6.5 it said 93 had the most satisfied customers of any year and I know why it’s just better I have now put on 8000 miles and no problems with transmission I was told it would...
I have run these transmissions for years on the track and on the street with manual valve body and had all intentions of putting one in this one but it worked so I didn’t bother but I did take it to Snyder transmission to check it out they said it was ok but I am concerned so I might go a head...
It still bothers me how my transmission works no one can explain it took it to transmission shop they checked pressure and drove the truck and said they can’t explain it either
Fuel leak now at least I made it home from races looking with mirror and light looks like filter housing always something but I love the old truck I have a 2016 dodge but I like the gmc
Yep I have lifted heads on mine running to much boost got better gaskets and arp bolts now and turned it down a little but I like it better with out the electronics it just feels better wish I had done that 20 years ago would have saved me lot of heartache and money
Yep I have OD and lock up converter works great I will take picture tomorrow if can figure out how to send it I have the whole truck if you need parts it really don’t need much pump and fuel lines
I had bought a manual valve body before I changed the I/P I have done this before and never had one that would work I have had three 6.5 trucks and had this one since 2000 I can change the valve body just hate to since it works but guess I will
I have put over a thousand miles on the truck since I put the manual pump on and it has never run better so I am going to leave it alone I just thought someone might know why it works but I guess not
