k so what im thinking im going to do since its an older truck as all of you know, im goin to try to get the ATT plus the full 4" ALUMINUM exhaust system from ssdieselsupply and see where that puts me... with my knowledge of cars i think that i will be in a happy place considering where i came...
i took off the wole entire intake box and put an air cone on the stock rubber intake tube that the oil intake is attached to right before the turbo... and whats the EGR??? thanks for all this info man i appreciate it alot
whats this a team turbo everyones talking about? dnt have quite enough money to "have to chip it" after gettin a new turbo and whatnot because ill be gettin a new exhaust as well... again does anybody have feedback on the stainless steel versus the aluminum exhaust system from ssdieselsupply...
thank you for your reply... i actually called up ssdieselsupply and talked with a guy there and said itll bolt up fine and the only difference is ill only get 400 core back instead of 500 since its the older turbo... again thank you very much for your info and repsonse... i found a nice 2 pillar...
interested in buying a slide-in camper... preferably a fixer-upper because i would like a cheaper due to the fact i want to put money into the truck but am looking forward to the sandy-neck summer season and need somethin to sleep in... any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

it used to but now the truck still sounds good but it sounds like its being held back and i dnt blame it its a big truck to be running off that low horsepower unturbo'd motor if the turbo is the problem which it must be... but im gonna try to do the trick that mfgguru did to his trucks turbo...
k thanks for reminding me... the wastegate moves extremely easily and doesnt seem like it should move that easily to me... like i said im new to diesels iom usually a gasser and have been around a couple of turbo cars but never worked on there turbos so i do have some knowledge of machanics but...
acetylene bottle huh? well i was looking at gettin some gauges like the ones that go along the door cross section... but if i make no boost then i wont know if its broken or if the turbo doesnt work lol... well i suppose i should get one then
haha turbine doc ya i hadmy friend hanging on with my hood flying up driving down the street it was quite the sight to see lol... no i was doing what most trucks call a brake-stand but in my truck it just just breaks and stands lol... just trying to build up a load on the turbo... like i said it...
i have an insane loss of power since i bought it 8 months ago. like i said i never heard the turbo and i actually took the air box off and put a cone on it also. i have exhaust from the turbo and it only has the muffler on it with 3.5 in 4 out. my truck used to keep up and beat with my buddies...

since i have owned the truck i have never heard the turbo except for when i had it in drive and had my friend hold the wastegate shut. does this mean i need a whole new turbo assembly or is there a way to fix the wastegate?? there was a couple of occasions when i was driving in about 8-10 inches...
